Hello my stamping friends! I hope all of you will get to spend this Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. I love Thanksgiving for that reason! And to celebrate one of my favorite holidays, I made this card.
I made these leaves with a stamp set from Penny Black called Fall Flutters. The leaves of this set are perfect for the technique I wanted to use. It is a combo of rolling the stamp into different colors of Distress Inks and then lightly mist with a water spray. Stamp onto your paper and hold for a few seconds. Lift straight up. When the image dries, you will get this gorgeous watercolor effect.
After I stamped several leaves, I fussy cut them out. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and heat embossed with a bronze embossing powder.
My Thanksgiving wish to you, is to have a blessed day with your loved ones!
Thanks for stopping by!
Mackie
