My son came home, so it was great having him here to spoil for a few days!
Today starts our last Inspiration Challenge here at The Card Concept before the Christmas holidays! Then we will be taking a break till first of January.
I just love, love, love this inspiration photo!
It made me think of a cold, crisp winter night sky.
Stars just seem to really shine brightly on a cold winter night. Then add some snowflakes....beautiful!
My card was very simple to make. I used the Snowy Backdrop die (Lawn Fawn) and dark blue paper for the sky. I adhered it to a white card base. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from Snowy Backdrops(Lawn Fawn) in navy onto vellum. The big snowflake- MFT Pierced Snowflake die-was cut with some white glitter paper. I wanted a little more sparkle, so I added some Tim Holtz stars. Very simple, but classy and elegant IRL!
