I decided to do a little mixed media for this card, because of the sun. I just love this image!
And I thought the bicycles on this pattern paper were perfect! I sponged the edges of the paper, and I painted a little white Gesso on the lower left to make an area for the sentiment.
My next card features New Beginnings:
The flowers were created by masking and stamping the images with Black Archival ink, which I colored with my Zig Watercolor pens. Of course I had to add some sequins (I love sequins)!!!

Wow! You have worked the spectrum this morning----from shabby and muted to clean and bright! I would be hard pressed to choose one over the other. I am definitely pinning the example where you whitewashed a spot to stamp the sentiment. What a brilliant idea!

Oh wow, what gorgeous cards. I love the neutral combo of colours on the first card - love the bikes. Your second card is wonderful. The floral cascade is stunning and the sequins are the perfect accent.

Terrific cards but I've got this thing for flowers and love this set! The colors of the 2nd card really pop off the white cardstock. Beautifully done! Just gorgeous!
