SugarPea Designs Sketch Challenge #51

Hello my stampy friends! 

Welcome to our last April weekly sketch challenge at SugarPea Designs! You have had all month to play along with us! You are welcome to play along with all the sketches or just one but remember the more times you play along during the month, the better chance you have of winning a $75 gift certificate to our store!!!

And here is our last sketch challenge for April:

Here is my card:

I used lots of different techniques for my background. I started with manilla card stock. I taped the Tim Holtz Doily stencil to the manilla card stock with some Washi tape. I sponged Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber and Twisted Citron Distress inks with ink dabbers. Next, I used a Tim Holtz Clear Emboss It dabber and dabbed the entire stenciled area with it. I carefully removed the stencil and then sprinkled Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing powder all over the embossed area. I heat set this with my heat gun. Next, I misted the panel with Dylusions London Blue ink spray. I outlined a few of the leaves with with a multi-liner.  I ended up with this beautifully textured panel!  I was able to die cut 2 pieces for 2 cards with the SugarPea Designs Heart Journal Card die. Finally, I added the silk flowers and the SugarPea Designs Thanks die!

Here is another card! I just changed the color of the sentiment!
