Hello everybody!
It is REWIND Day here at Paper Sweeties!
It's time to show you how easy it is to mix the newest Paper Sweeties Stamps and Sweet Cuts with older releases to make all kinds of cards and projects!
I wanted to make another summer celebration card!
First, I used a red and blue Zig Color Brush with waterbrush to make the background. Next I die cut several heart banners from the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts. I glued these to the watercolored panel row by row.
Next, I stamped the sentiment from this month's I Love Summer onto a tag from the Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts.
That background has such an impact, I didn't need to add anything else but the sentiment!

Your background looks amazing, Mackie! I've been wanting those Zig pens for so long and they just haven't made it into my budget. What an awesome idea to put the heart border over the top of the background and do one diagonally and the other straight.
