Hello !!! It is time for a new challenge here at
the CARD CONCEPT!
I was inspired by the scripted backgrounds and the blue butterflies!
I started my card by stamping the butterfly and sentiment onto Tim Holtz water color paper with Black Archival ink . I masked the sentiment and the butterfly.
And then the fun began!!!!
First, I stamped script and musical notes with Watering Can Archival ink. Next I sponged the sun with this fabulous stencil that I have in my stash. Then I added lots of wonderful colors with Distress inks and water and the Simon Says stamp set-Lots of Dots! I would ink the stamp and then spritz with water before stamping it on the paper. I think it made this really cool effect.
I removed the masks. Then I adhered a second butterfly that I had stamped and colored with Zig Clean Color markers. I only glued the butterfly down in the center, and folded the wings up a little bit, to have some great dimension.
The final touches were some droplets made with Nuvo Jewel Drops.
