I loved using this stamp set, because it was so easy with the 3 layer process! My Misti was the perfect tool for these stamps. I stamped the first 2 layers with 2 different shades of red and the final layer with Versamark ink, so I could heat emboss with gold embossing powder. After I stamped the images, I decided to sponge the background with some Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress inks for a vintage look. Then I stamped some musical notes, and added ink splatters and some Nuvo Crystal drops.
Finally, I stamped a separate poinsettia and I die cut it with the matching die. I die cut some leaves with green card stock, and heat embossed veins of the leaves with gold embossing powder. After I curled the edges of the leaves and poinsettia, I adhered them to my card with foam tape for extra dimension.
This is the first Christmas card that I have made this year! I had better get busy!
