Card Concept Challenge #85-Rustic Flowers

Hello everyone!

Welcome to another challenge here at 

the CARD CONCEPT!

This time our theme is Rustic Flowers.

I was so inspired by the beautiful flowers and rose aagainst the woodgrain background.

The Misti was a BIG help with creating these flowers. It allowed me
to color the leaves, blue flowers and pink flower outline with Distress Markers.
Then, I re-stamped  the image with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next, I watercolored the pink roses with Picked Raspberry and Aged Mahogany  Ranger Distress inks with a water brush. I just love how the roses turned out! If you ever watch any Penny Black videos on YouTube, you will see their designer, Jill Foster, do this technique often. I really loved the results!

I hope I was able to explain this technique clearly!

I think the style of my card would be a combination of shabby chic and mixed media! 
I'm not really sure! LOL!
