The Card Concept Challenge #154- Happy Mother's Day!

Hello my stampy friends!

I am here to share the card that I created for our

newest Challenge at 

The Card Concept!

Our inspiration photo this month is this beautiful bouquet of flowers!

I love the blues, pinks and yellows!

I created a Mixed Media style card!

I die cut lots of flowers with the Tim Holtz Funky Floral Large dies, from Strathmore cold pressed water color paper. I  also die cut the wreath from this same water color paper with dies matching the Stampin Up-Arrange A Wreath stamp set. I messily colored the flowers, wreath and leaves with Gansai Tambi water colors.

I arranged the flowers & leaves on top of the wreath, and placed them onto  a 4 X 2 1/2 inches piece of white card stock that had been embossed with the Stampin Up-Scripty embossing folder.

The back panel is a 4 X 5 1/4 inches. I placed the MFT Petal Power stencil on top. Next, I spritzed water on top of the whole panel, then dropped matching colors from my Gansai Tambi thru the stencil. 

It made this really cool background, which you can't see too well in the photos!

The style of my card would be considered 

Mixed Media

2 or more mediums

such as inks, watercolors, stamps,

fabrics, foil.

Anything that adds texture to your project
