Hello my stampy friends!
Welcome to another challenge
here at the Card Concept!
We have a beautiful inspiration photo-Sunny Sunflowers!
I hope it inspires you to join us!
I was inspired by the sunflowers and the black and white gingham
ribbon to create my Mixed Media style card.
The leave and flower images are created with the Thank You-Wendy Vecchi stamp and stencil set. It was so fun and easy to color the stamped images by sponging Distress inks through the matching stencil! I added some shading, and some details with colored pencils.
I created the background panel by first stamping white card stock with a wood grain background stamp with Weathered Wood Distress ink. Next, I sponged over the whole panel with Pumice Stone Distress ink. And finally, I sponged the edges with Black Soot Distress ink. I also splattered the background panel with Black Soot Distress Paint, that was mixed with water.
I die cut the oval from white card stock to put behind the flowers to help them pop against the background panel. I added black and white gingham ribbon and some enamel dots to complete the card!
I hope I have inspired you to join our challenge!
I love seeing all of your beautiful creations!
