The Card Concept Challenge # 167-Cuppa Cocoa

 

Welcome my stampy friends!

We have a new challenge starting today here at

THE CARD CONCEPT CHALLENGE! 

The nordic design on the coffee cups is what inspired

 my Clean & Simple Style card.

~Clean lines

~Lots of Layers

~Designer papers, embossing

~Embellishments/accents

~Clean & Fresh looking

~Some colored images

~White space

 Here is my card:

I stamped the coffee cup onto some white card stock.  I stamped the image again onto some nordic patterned paper that I had in my stash. I fussy cut both images, then paper pieced the red pattern paper onto the first cup that I stamped with the white card stock.

My card sketch is from the current January 2022 SheetLoad of Cards sketch. Alicia at Call Me {Crafty} Al is one of my favorite You-tubers. You can check her out HERE and see how she designs her sketches! I chose my beautiful pattern papers from Stampin' Up's Painted Christmas collection!

I added some die cut coffee beans and some red gems to add a little pizazz!

How to Join Us:

Choose a design style (or combine styles), create a card, and in your blog post, let us know what inspired you from the photo, what style and/or styles you chose and don't forget to display our inspiration photo and link back to our challenge :-)

At the end of the challenge, the Design Team will choose one Main Winner and at least three Honorable Mentions.  We will announce the winners here on our challenge blog, as well as our Facebook page and our new Pinterest board.  

Please feel free to use any of the styles we have defined or create your own with a combination of styles.  We want you to have fun with our inspiration!
