The Card Concept Challenge #168 - Love is in the Air

Hello my stampy friends!

It is February!

Time for love, hearts and Valentines!

We have a new challenge starting today at 

the Card Concept  

and it is a PERFECT example for the month of February!!!

I love this heart shaped wreath!

 The wreath and colors inspired my Clean & Layered style card.

~Clean lines

~Lots of Layers

~Designer papers, embossing

~Embellishments/accents

~Clean & Fresh looking

~Some colored images

~White space

Here is my card:

I have this beautiful heart wreath die from SpellBinders! I knew I wanted to use it for this project!  I die cut 3 wreaths out of 3 different colored green card stocks. I offset them when I glued them together.  I fluffed up the leaves to add dimension. Next, I adhered the wreath to piece of white card stock  which I had embossed.

 

The arrow is included with this heart wreath die set. I used gold metallic card stock to die cut 3 hearts and glued them all together. I wanted to give the arrow some bulk and strength.

Next, I decided to decorate the wreath with hearts instead of flowers. I chose 2 different colors of pretty pink card stock. 

The final step was to add lots of sparkle with sequins and seed beads! I just love how pretty it turned out!
