Hello my stampy friends!
Welcome to another challenge starting today at the
The nautical theme inspired my Clean & Layered style card.
~Clean lines
~Lots of Layers
~Designer papers, embossing
~Embellishments/accents
~Clean & Fresh looking
~Some colored images
~White space
Here is my card:
The blue background was created by smooshing some Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks onto a square shaped acrylic block. I spritzed it with water, then turned it straight and upside down onto white water color card stock. It needs to sit there for a minute to let the colors absorb into the paper. Don't move it around or it will distort the shape. Then pull it straight up. You will have a cool square of color! Dry it with a heat gun. Next, I placed a stencil on top of the square area and used a baby wipe to bleach out the tiny hearts. Hopefully, you can see them! I thought it needed a few black splatters!
I stamped the boat and used its matching die to cut it out. I white embossed the sentiment onto black paper onto a sentiment strip. I added the boat and the sentiment strip to my card with some foam dots.
I die cut several little, red hearts and glued them straight to the paper.
The final touches were some Wink Of Stella and some sparkly gems!
I hope I have inspired you to join our challenge!
