Welcome my stampy friends to a new challenge starting today at the
Here is our new Inspiration Photo:
Perfect for the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend!
I hope all of you have great plans for this long weekend!
(Maybe a little stamping with our challenge???)
You might not have ever seen blue and red watermelons before...but I thought they were so cute and perfect for this challenge!
And watermelon is my FAVORITE summertime food!!!!!
My card was created with an older stamp and die set from PaperTrey ink. I have always loved these dies and the big bold statements of the stamp set. I don't think it shows up in the photos, but the sentiment has been heat embossed with some Navy Blue embossing powder.
I hope I have inspired you to join our challenge!
I love seeing all of your beautiful creations!
We want you to have fun with our inspiration!
Here's how you can join us:
~ Choose a design style (or combine styles) and create a card.
~ Please feel free to use any of the styles we have defined or create your own with a combination of styles. The styles are explained HERE.
~ In your blog post, let us know what inspired you from the photo, what style and/or styles you chose
~ Display our Inspiration Photo and LINK back to our challenge!!
At the end of the challenge, the Design Team will choose one Main Winner and at least three Honorable Mentions. We will announce the winners here on our challenge blog, as well as our Facebook page and our new Pinterest board.
So come and join us! We'd love for you to try your hand at a brand new style of card making or feel free to work in your comfort zone. It is totally up to you!
HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!
